The public search and ordering portal of the IPK Genebank (GBIS/I) enables the retrieval of information on the Federal ex situ Collection of Agricultural and Horticultural Crops using various scientifically orientated approaches. Passport data and phenotypic data can be searched without any login. Creating a user account allows samples to be ordered (if available) and to save in a wish list, which will be available again the next time the user logs in. Data for search results can be downloaded. In addition, a complete snapshot of the accession passport data for the entire collection is created on a quarterly basis. This is made available in citable form including DOI.
