The following right of revocation is valid only for consumers! Consumers are natural persons who order the Genebank materials merely for their private purposes, which cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity
Right of Revocation
If you are consumer, you have the right to revoke this order within the period of revocation.
The period of revocation is 14 days from the day on which you took possession of the ordered Genebank materials (or a third party designated by you, but who is not the carrier).
The revocation must be sent to:
Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK),
OT Gatersleben, Corrensstraße 3, 06466 Seeland (Germany).
To exercise your right of revocation, you have to inform us (name, address and contact data as referred to above) by means of an explicit declaration (e.g. by a letter sent by post mail, fax or email) that you have decided to revoke the order. To stick to the revocation period it is sufficient that the notification of the execution of the revocation is sent within the revocation period.
You can use the accompanying cancellation form, however this is not required.

Consequences of Revocation
If you revoke this order, we have to refund all payments which we have received from you, immediately, not later than within fourteen days from the day on which your notification of the revocation of this order has been received by us.
For the refund we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.
You will not be charged a fee for this refund.
We can refuse the refund until we have received back the delivered Genebank materials or until you have furnished proof that you have sent the received Genebank materials back to us, depending on whichever takes place first.
You must return or transfer the received Genebank materials to us immediately, within fourteen days of the day on which you have notified us of the revocation of this order. The period has been adhered to if you send the received Genebank materials prior to the lapse of the fourteen day period.
You have to bear the direct costs of returning the received Genebank materials.
You are responsible for covering any loss in value of the returned Genebank materials if this loss in value is based on unnecessary handling of the Genebank materials in order to inspect the characteristics, properties and function of the goods.
